TELKOM Achieve "Best of BUMN Award 2010"

Jakarta, August 8, 2010 – Ministry of BUMN, PR Forum of BUMN, and Magazine of BUMN Track present PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TELKOM) as Best of The Best BUMN Award 2010 in the event of BUMN Award 2010. Minister of BUMN, Mustafa Abubakar, presents directly the award to President Director of TELKOM, Rinaldi Firmansyah, in a special occasion at Hotel Indonesia, Kempinski, Jakarta on Friday night (6/8).

Ministry of BUMN, PR Forum of BUMN, and Magazine of BUMN Track also present Three Outstanding Awards to TELKOM, first, for Best BUMN KPI (Key Performance Indicator), Best BUMN Synergy, Best HR Management, secondly, for Best BUMN GCG (Good Corporate Governance ), and thirdly, for Best BUMN Pension Fund. With these awards TELKOM is recognized as Best of The Best BUMN Award 2010.

Vice President Public and Marketing Communication TELKOM, Eddy Kurnia, appreciates the award. “With this appreciation BUMN particularly TELKOM will compete to show much better performance. Those achieving the recognition will be motivated to reach better and those not will surely be encouraged to introspect themselves,” he said.

BUMN Award is intended to give appreciation to BUMN having shown posistive perfomance through program implementation and strategic agenda planned by Ministry of BUMN. Besides, this activity is expected to be able to support and motivate BUMN to continuously perform and implement program and strategic agenda of BUMN Ministry and also as an event of BUMN to show best performance to the public and stake holder of BUMN in general.

Object of appraisal is BUMN performance of the book year 2008-2009 based on number of appraisal, including application of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and application of corporate implementation properly. The event participated by 73 BUMN covering various business sectors.

The appreciation given covers Best BUMN KPI, Best BUMN GCG, Best BUMN Synergy, Best BUMN Service and Good Provision, Best BUMN Asssets Security and Safety, Best BUMN Fixed Donation Implementation, Best BUMN Website, Best HR Management, Best BUMN Pension Fund, Best PSO Executor and Best BUMN.

Appraisal is done by Board of Jury according to the questionnaires filled in by each BUMN. Members of the Board of Jury are chaired by M.
