Bangka Belitung, April 10, 2008 - Telkom and Education Quality Guarantor Institution of Bangka Belitung Province build “Mobile Laboratory” for chemistry, physics and ICT (information and communication technology). This “Mobile Laboratory” is named “Smart Car, Mobile e-Ducation for Tomorrow”. The Smart Car which is completed with chemical and physical equipments, 20 notebooks with WiFi access and its energy saver, is expected to be used in the outlying area. The Smart Car is also supported by the mass media and other institutions.
The Governor of Bangka Belitung, Eko Maulana give his positive response for the Smart Car. Through Smart car, he believes knowledge gap, especially in IT in Bangka Belitung can be minimalized.
