SMS MANIA
For all "Texty", Kartu As issues SMS Mania program with the following specifications
What does Kartu As SMS Mania mean ?
SMS Mania means SMS package program sold in 3 separated packages consisting of :
  • Daily Package – Rp 1,000 for 50 SMS to all operators, for the day only from 00:00 to 18:00 local time 
  • Weekly Package – Rp 5,000 for 100 SMS to all operators, effective 5 days 
  • Monthly Package – Rp 25,000 for 600 SMS to all operators, effective 30 days
Effective date July 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008

Easy registration/purchase of SMS Mania.
  • Type *899# then Yes/OK then the package menu and purchase instruction appeared.
  • Buying SMS Package the customers also able to buy ChatBox Rp 5,500 for 30-day Chatting 
To buy SMS Mania, customers should have voucher at the minimum Rp 500 higher than the price in the Package, for example, Rp 1,500 for Daily Package, Rp 5,500 for Weekly Package, and Rp 25,500 for Monthly Package.
To check SMS balance, use menu in *899#
Customers also able to check SMS Package balance through USSD *889#
For Daily Package, Weekly Package, and Monthly Package, the customers use SMS Package to all domestic numbers including FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) and other operators.
For now SMS Mania cannot be used for sending International SMS and ADN (premiun destination number)
Customers buy SMS Weekly Package twice in the latest Weekly Package active period, so the Active Period of Weekly Package Usage will be extended 5 days from the last active period.
Number of SMS will be accummulated between the old Weekly Package and the new one.
Also for the purchase of SMS Monthly Package twice in the latest Monthly Package active period, the Active Period of Monthly Package Usage will be extended 30 days from the last active period.
Number of SMS will be accumulated between the old Monthly Package and the new one.
Customers buy Daily Package when they have Weekly or Monthly package, and vice versa.
  • Daily package bought once up to 18:00 hours although they have weekly or monthly package 
  • On the other hand, Monthly package bought within the active period of Daily package. 
  • Priority of SMS usage: daily package, then weekly and monthly package.
  • Active period of daily package up to 18.00 hours. 
  • Validity period of weekly and monthly package remains unchanged if buying daily package 
  • On the other hand, validity period of daily package remains unchanged if buying weekly and monthly package 
Customers buy SMS Monthly Package within the active period of the latest Weekly Package, so the active period of Package usage will be extenced 30 days from the last active period.
Number of SMS will be accumulated between the weekly package and the monthly package.
Also for the purchase of SMS Weekly Package within the active period of the latest Monthly Package, the active period of Package usage will be extended 5 days from the last active period.
Number of SMS will be accumulated between weekly package and monthly package.
SMS Mania cannot be used when customers enter the grace period although the SMS Mania package purchased is still active.
To make sure that customers able to buy SMS Mania package, they should remain in the active period.

Kartu As promo tariff  cheaper Rp 6,5/ second for calls to Telkomsel (Kartu Halo, simPATI, Kartu As) customers, other operators and PSTN.
Tariff Rp 6,5/second is effective from 05:00:00 to 16:59:59, further Rp 13/ second , all day long.
