Jakarta, February 27, 2026 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has taken concrete steps to support the acceleration of stunting reduction through an integrated nutrition intervention program implemented from January to December 2025 across nine provinces in Indonesia. The program reached 3,169 children as part of Telkom’s contribution to the national stunting reduction target, while strengthening the foundation of human capital development toward the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.
As a leading digital telco company, Telkom combines physical assistance with technology utilization through its digital platform, the Stunting Action Hub. Of the total 3,169 beneficiaries, 1,231 children have been integrated into the digital system. The platform enables structured, continuous recording and monitoring of growth parameters such as height, weight, and nutritional status, enabling more precise evaluation of interventions.

Based on data from the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI), the national stunting prevalence stands at 21.5%, meaning one in five children under five experiences growth disorders. The government targets a reduction to 14% as part of its national health development agenda. This challenge requires not only appropriate nutritional interventions but also accurate, integrated data systems to ensure measurable, sustainable impact.
Telkom’s nutrition intervention program was implemented in nine provinces: Lampung, West Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, West Java, Central Java, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and South Sulawesi. The program was carried out in collaboration with regional stakeholders to ensure effective and targeted distribution of nutritional support and mentoring.

Hery Susanto, SGM Social Responsibility of Telkom, stated that a data-driven approach is essential to ensuring program effectiveness. “Telkom believes that addressing stunting requires not only logistical support but also a strengthened and integrated data ecosystem. Through the Stunting Action Hub, we ensure that every intervention is monitored in real time and measured. The synergy between physical assistance and digital innovation is key to creating sustainable impact and demonstrates our commitment that technology must help solve fundamental humanitarian issues,” he said.
This program is part of Telkom’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) implementation aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. Through the integration of nutrition intervention and digital health data systems, Telkom continues to promote more effective, transparent, and sustainable stunting mitigation practices to help build a healthier and more competitive future generation of Indonesia.
