


Jakarta, May 22, 2026 – In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) once again demonstrated its commitment to providing benefits to the community through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL/CSR) program. Under the theme "The Spirit of Qurban Can Serve as a Path for the Transformation of Social Piety," TelkomGroup, along with its subsidiaries, including Telkomsel, distributed a total of 910 qurban (sacrificial) animals, comprising 232 cows and 678 goats/sheep, to communities across various regions of Indonesia.
In total, the qurban animals, weighing 114,739 kilograms, will be distributed to 62,469 beneficiaries, including the underprivileged (dhuafa), residents around the company's operational areas, and vulnerable and disaster-affected communities.
The distribution of qurban animals was carried out collaboratively by the TelkomGroup, including Telkom, Telkomsel, a consortium of subsidiaries, and employee participation. From the total distribution, Telkom contributed 185 animals, Telkomsel 459 animals, joint subsidiaries 148 animals, and employee contributions accounted for 118 animals.
The CEO of Telkom, Dian Siswarini, attended the symbolic handover of the qurban animal assistance at the Vertical Garden Telkom Hub on Friday, May 22, 2025. She was accompanied by Telkom's Human Capital Management Director Willy Saelan, Telkomsel CEO Nugroho, Telkomsel Human Capital Management Director Indrawan Ditapradana, representatives from the Telkom Group Islamic Study Council (MTTG), LAZISMU, LAZISNU, and representatives of the beneficiaries, including the scavenger community from Bantar Gebang, Bekasi.
On this occasion, Dian stated that the momentum of Eid al-Adha serves as an important reminder of the spirit of caring and mutual cooperation (gotong royong) to bring broader benefits to the community.
"Eid al-Adha is the perfect momentum for us to increase our care and foster a spirit of sincerity through the synergy of all TelkomGroup elements. Through the distribution of these qurban animals, we want to ensure that the happiness of Eid al-Adha can be felt by the entire community, especially vulnerable groups and our brothers and sisters affected by natural disasters," said Dian Siswarini.
Telkom's Human Capital Management Director, Willy Saelan, added, "The spirit of sharing during the momentum of Eid al-Adha is also a reflection of the corporate cultural values that place social care as an essential part of the character of TelkomGroup personnel. Through the collaboration of all employees, subsidiaries, and various parties, we hope this assistance can provide widespread benefits while strengthening the value of togetherness between the company and the community."
The implementation of the qurban program within the TelkomGroup also involved the Central MTTG, Regional MTTG, and Witel MTTG in various areas. Meanwhile, the slaughtering and distribution of qurban animals were carried out in accordance with government guidelines and adapted to the conditions of each region.
The presence of the TelkomGroup qurban program was positively welcomed by the beneficiary communities. One of them, a representative of the Bantar Gebang scavenger community, Sawunggaling, expressed his appreciation for the assistance received.
"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to TelkomGroup for the qurban meat assistance provided. This assistance means a lot to us, and we hope the benefits can be felt by even more people," expressed Sawunggaling.
This qurban program is part of TelkomGroup's CSR implementation, which focuses on creating sustainable social impact by strengthening the values of care, mutual cooperation, and usefulness to the community.
