Jakarta, October 22, 2025 — In an effort to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) level up and penetrate global markets, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment by facilitating the participation of seven of its fostered MSMEs in the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025, held on October 15–19, 2025, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang.

The seven MSMEs — BAKERZMIX, MADEBYDE, Mbrebes Mili Food, Dapoer Aul, Banamia Chips, Batik Bedjo, and CV. Mayasari Jaya Mandiri exemplifies Telkom’s commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs to compete globally. Telkom hopes that its MSME partners can expand business networks, establish partnerships with foreign buyers, and open export opportunities for Indonesia’s top products through their participation in TEI.

Trade Expo Indonesia is the largest trade exhibition in Indonesia, organized by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. This year, TEI carries the theme “Global Partnerships for Sustainable Growth,” emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in supporting sustainable economic growth. TEI 2025 features more than 1,200 exhibitors and attracts over 30,000 visitors from more than 100 countries, serving as a strategic platform for Indonesian businesses to expand their international trade networks.

Telkom’s Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility, Hery Susanto, stated that the participation of Telkom’s fostered MSMEs in TEI 2025 is part of the company’s MSME development ecosystem, which focuses on four stages: Go Modern, Go Digital, Go Online, and Go Global.
“The participation of Telkom’s MSMEs in Trade Expo Indonesia 2025 is a concrete reflection of our consistency in strengthening an inclusive digital economy ecosystem. This event represents the Go Global stage of Telkom’s MSME development, where we encourage entrepreneurs to grow and compete internationally. We hope this momentum will help MSMEs expand their markets, build international partnerships, and introduce more Indonesian local products to the world,” said Hery.

Each MSME showcased Indonesian-made products with export quality and unique characteristics — from culinary products like Nusantara chili sauce by Dapoer Aul, crispy fried shallots by Mbrebes Mili Food, to modern banana-based snacks by Banamia Chips. BAKERZMIX presented premium baked goods and innovative baking ingredients, while MADEBYDE showcased Indonesian handicrafts. In the fashion sector, Batik Bedjo exhibited Pekalongan hand-drawn batik adapted to global market preferences, while CV. Mayasari Jaya Mandiri introduced dried seaweed from East Kalimantan with high export potential.

Out of the seven MSMEs showcased at TEI 2025, five successfully participated in business matching with buyers from countries including China, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Canada, Nigeria, and India. This achievement highlights how Indonesian local products are increasingly recognized for their quality, creativity, and unique cultural values. Moreover, two Telkom-assisted MSMEs secured direct deals during the event: PT Mbrebes Mili Food signed a USD 150,000 cooperation contract with a buyer from the Netherlands, while Banamia Chips received an order of 4,000 pieces from a Pakistani buyer.

This success marks an important milestone in Telkom’s effort to accelerate MSMEs into global markets, demonstrating the vast potential of Indonesian products worldwide. Through its support for TEI 2025, Telkom Indonesia reaffirms its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). This initiative also strengthens Telkom’s Creating Shared Value (CSV) pillar, where MSME empowerment is not only part of the company’s sustainability strategy but also a tangible contribution to creating shared social and economic value.
