Business News Indonesia Magazine gave a special recognition of "Top Infrastructure on Telecommunication Sector 2016" to Telkom Indonesia. The award was given to Telkom due to the companies infrastructure with financial performance and business prospects and contribute to the national development.

Top Infrastructure is an annual activity that gives the highest appreciation in Indonesia to infrastructure companies. The purpose of the award is to encourage firms in Indonesia to continue to improve the performance, service, innovation, and contribution to national development.
 
Vice President Corporate Communication of Telkom Arif Prabowo said the award is recognition of the hard work of Telkom in building telecommunications infrastructure to remote areas. "Telkom is the only telecommunications company that is committed to build telecommunications infrastructure equally. Not only build in Java and Sumatera, but also outside Java, especially the eastern part of Indonesia," he said.
 
In addition to extending the telecommunications network, said Arif Prabowo, is also intensively modernized the telecom networks. "This network modernization is Telkom's commitment to give a new experience in the form of high-quality connectivity services to customers," said Arif. Network modernization has been carried out since 2011 and is projected for completion in 2012.
 
"Telkom's Infrastructure fiber optic backbone is currently reaching most of Indonesia around 84 thousand km from Aceh to Papua, so the majority of Indonesian people can enjoy the IndiHome service. This is one of the company's efforts to achieve the vision of becoming The King of Digital and build the digital community in Indonesia, "said Arif.
