Provide Health Checks as an Effort to Create a Healthy and Productive Society

Karanganyar, 6 December 2023 – Healthcare provider and a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), AdMedika, is committed to participating in creating a healthy society through the PodjokSehat program, which it recently rolled out in collaboration with the Colomadu II Community Health Center in Jetis Hamlet, Puspan Blulukan Village Colomadu, Central Java. CEO of AdMedika, Dwi Sulistiani kicked off the program with AdMedika President Commissioner Torkis Ropinda Sihombing, the company's Board of Commissioners members, Jetis Hamlet healthcare worker Sri, and hamlet leaders were among the guests in attendance. 

The PodjokSehat program targeted the elderly and 50 hamlet residents underwent health checks, which included blood pressure checks, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid checks, and medical consultations with AdMedika medical advisors and doctors. During the event, AdMedika President Commissioner Torkis Ropinda Sihombing handed over medical equipment packages to Jetis Hamlet healthcare worker Sri.

"This activity shows AdMedika's commitment to being directly present in the community to realize a healthy and productive Indonesian society. We hoped that this activity can help increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health to create a healthy Indonesia," AdMedika CEO, Dwi Sulistiani said.

This activity is also a form of corporate social responsibility in accordance with Telkom's good corporate governance provisions in the health sector, which is included in the implementation of environmental, social, and governance, and in line with the Ministry of Health's 2020-2024 vision, namely creating healthy, productive, independent and just humans. Apart from that, the PodjokSehat program could help strengthen AdMedika's image so that more and more people will benefit from the company's presence in society.
