Digiland Run 2025 Resmi Sandang World Athletics Label Road Races

Achieving the World Athletics Label in record time, Digiland Run proves its international-standard event management.

Jakarta, April 19, 2025 – Digiland Run 2025 has officially received the “World Athletics Label Road Races” for the 10K and 21K Half Marathon categories from World Athletics, the international governing body for athletics that certifies road races meeting global standards. This certification is a form of international recognition that Digiland 2025 meets global standards in terms of route accuracy, timing systems, participant safety, competition integrity, and event management. With this label, Digiland Run 2025 is officially listed on the World Athletics international race calendar and opens up wider opportunities to reach both amateur and professional runners from various countries.

Organized as part of the Digiland 2025 series, Digiland Run will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Istora Senayan complex in South Jakarta. The public can choose from three race categories: 5K, 10K, and 21K (Half Marathon), with a total target of 12,500 runners from across Indonesia and abroad.

PASI Secretary General Tigor Tanjung expressed his appreciation for the Digiland Run during a media gathering and event update in Jakarta on Thursday (10/4). He stated that this international certification makes Digiland the first running event in Indonesia to achieve the World Athletics Label in a short period of time. “In just its second year, Digiland Run has become one of the fastest running events in Indonesia to earn an international label. This is truly an achievement worth celebrating together,” said Tigor.

Beyond just sports, Digiland 2025 also embodies the spirit of innovation, entertainment, and empowerment, such as the Digiland Music Festival, which features a lineup of Indonesian musicians, and the MSME and Indonesian Culinary Market, which serves as a space for interaction between the public and local entrepreneurs.

Telkom's VP of Corporate Communication, Andri Herawan Sasoko, stated that this milestone is a significant step in maintaining the quality of Digiland Run’s international quality. "For us, this achievement is not only international recognition, but also a responsibility. This certainly encourages us to maintain the standards of the Digiland Run. We will continue to strive to provide the best experience for the runners who have enthusiastically embraced this event," he said.

Tickets for Digiland Run are available in three categories, priced from IDR 400,000 (5K) to IDR 600,000 (Half Marathon), with a special bundling option for the Digiland Music Festival for an additional IDR 100,000. Telkomsel customers also receive a 15 GB bonus internet quota with every ticket purchase.
