Jakarta — Stunting remains one of Indonesia’s significant public health challenges. According to the 2024 Indonesia Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI), the national prevalence of stunting stood at 21.5 percent, down from 24.4 percent the previous year. Accelerating this decline requires cross-sector collaboration, including active involvement from the private sector through Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs.

As a form of commitment to improving public health, Telkom Indonesia earned two awards at the 2025 Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Championship (ICCS). Telkom won the Community Involvement Development award in the Health category through its innovative Stunting Action Hub program, and the TJSL Agent of the Year award, presented to Hery Susanto, Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility at Telkom Indonesia. Announced on 16 October 2025, these recognitions reflect Telkom’s measurable and sustainable contributions to social impact.

The ICCS Summit is a strategic platform for communication and TJSL practitioners from state-owned enterprises across Indonesia. Carrying the theme “Economically Sovereign to Compete on the Global Stage,” the event strengthens the alignment between communication strategies and sustainability principles, while encouraging innovations that enhance SOEs’ competitiveness globally.

Through the Stunting Action Hub, Telkom Indonesia provides a digital solution to accelerate stunting management in various regions. The program recorded an SROI ratio of 1:1.75 and saw increased adoption, engaging 53 healthcare workers and 42 posyandu in 2025. Overall, this initiative has benefited 591 children and parents, supported 975 anthropometric measurements, and distributed 7,586 nutritious food packages.

The TJSL Agent of the Year award was presented to Hery Susanto for his contributions in transforming TJSL management across the Telkom Group. By aligning its ESG strategic directions, integrating programs with the SDGs, and strengthening multi-stakeholder collaboration both internally and externally, Telkom has succeeded in building a sustainability approach that is relevant, credible, and aligned with global standards, such as ISO 26000.

“This award is tangible proof of Telkom Indonesia’s commitment to delivering sustainable social impact for communities and the environment. Through digital innovation, partnerships, and ecosystem strengthening, we strive to ensure every TJSL program provides measurable benefits that address community needs. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance Telkom’s social contributions through sustainability-oriented initiatives,” said Hery Susanto, Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility at Telkom Indonesia.

Telkom Indonesia emphasizes that all TJSL programs are integral to the company’s broader sustainability strategy, which aims to create long-term value for society. With the spirit of creating shared value, Telkom continues to promote inclusive, self-reliant, and competitive initiatives that meaningfully support national development.
