Jakarta, May 28, 2025 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has concluded its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 fiscal year, held in Jakarta on Tuesday (27/5). The meeting approved the distribution of cash dividends of IDR 21.0 trillion to shareholders, equivalent to 89% of the company’s 2024 net profit (dividend payout ratio). This reflects a 19% increase in dividends compared to the previous year. The remaining 11% of net profit, or IDR 2.6 trillion, will be allocated as retained earnings to support the company’s business development.
Each Telkom shareholder will receive a dividend of IDR 212.47 per share. The dividend will be distributed to shareholders listed in the company’s Shareholders Register (DPS) at the close of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on June 12, 2025. The divident payment will be made in a single installment no later than July 2, 2025.
At the AGMS, shareholders approved the Company's share buyback worth IDR 3 trillion. This corporate action aims to enhance shareholder value and maintain the Company's stock price stability amid market dynamics.
During the Telkom AGMS press conference for the 2024 fiscal year, Telkom Deputy President Director Muhammad Awaluddin stated that the company must act as an accelerator for national digital infrastructure development. "As the flagship carrier in the telco industry, Telkom has a significant responsibility to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia. The programs implemented by the previous management will be continued and enhanced going forward," he said.
He also emphasized Telkom’s pivotal role in strengthening the national digital ecosystem through its diverse portfolios and strategic business lines, “With portfolios including fixed and mobile broadband, data centers, digital infrastructure, and other supporting ecosystems, Telkom is committed to leading the digital ecosystem nationally. This aligns with the Asta Cita mission of President Prabowo–Gibran’s administration and supports the government’s strategic programs currently underway,” he added.
He further emphasized that Telkom's transformation is not only about infrastructure and business, but also contributes to the realization of Indonesia's digital sovereignty. “Telkom is not only about building and managing infrastructure; it must also play a key role as an enabler in realizing national digital sovereignty,” he concluded.
2024 was a challenging period for the global telecommunications industry, marked by macroeconomic pressures and intensifying competition. Amid these dynamics, Telkom demonstrated solid adaptability and delivered positive performance. The company booked consolidated revenue of IDR 150.0 trillion, growing 0.5% year-on-year. Consolidated EBITDA remained strong at IDR 75.0 trillion with a stable EBITDA margin of 50.0%, despite the impact of the Early Retirement Program (ERP) implemented in the second quarter of 2024. Furthermore, the company also recorded a net profit of IDR 23.6 trillion with a net profit margin of 15.8%.
Telkom continues to accelerate its corporate transformation through its Five Bold Moves (5BM) strategy and has passed various milestones throughout 2024. The implementation of Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) continues to show positive results, with the successful completion of One-Billing integration to simplify customer transactions. InfraCo, through PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia (TIF), has obtained two primary licenses: JARTAPLOK (Local Fixed Network) and JARTUP (Terrestrial Fixed Network), which serve as the foundation for developing TIF's service capabilities. DataCenterCo (DC Co), through NeutraDC, focuses on building hyperscale data centers and edge data centers to meet growing market demand, particularly in the hyperscaler and enterprise segments. Furthermore, with B2B Digital IT Services, Telkom continues to open strategic partnership opportunities with global technology industry players to provide the best digital solutions for the B2B market. Through DigiCo, Telkom presents innovative, relevant digital solutions that address market needs for both B2C and B2B customers.
During the press conference, Telkom's Senior Vice President of Group Sustainability and Corporate Communication, Ahmad Reza, announced the composition of Telkom's Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors. “The meeting also approved the new composition of Telkom’s Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors, who are expected to make significant contributions toward enhancing the company’s performance and ensuring the success of Telkom’s transformation journey,” he stated.
