JAKARTA, September 9, 2026 – The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving an urgent need for digital literacy and skills from an early age. The younger generation's use of AI must focus not only on technical capabilities but also on understanding how to use technology wisely, ethically, and responsibly.
To address this need, TelkomGroup—through its education pillar, Telkom BISA PandAI—presents BISA Mahir, a digital competency development program designed to equip students and educators with future technology skills. One key implementation is the EduMind Wellbeing & AI Camp, which integrates AI learning with strengthening emotional wellbeing within the school environment.
The program has been successfully implemented in Bukittinggi, Makassar, and Semarang, reaching 1,000 participants: 850 students and 150 accompanying teachers. This execution across the three cities is part of TelkomGroup's effort to expand access to AI education while fostering a learning ecosystem that adapts to technological advancements.
Through the EduMind Wellbeing & AI Camp, participants are not only introduced to using AI to support teaching and learning, but are also guided to understand the importance of maintaining emotional wellbeing amid the dynamics of learning in the digital era. This approach is supported by several mechanisms, including Weekly Mood Check-ins, AI-assisted wellbeing monitoring, and a reporting system that helps schools gain a more sustainable overview of student conditions.
Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility at Telkom Indonesia, Hery Susanto, said digital-era educational transformation must go hand in hand with technology mastery and human resource readiness.
"As a digital company, Telkom continues to encourage the positive use of technology through the BISA Mahir AI training, manifested in the EduMind Wellbeing & AI Camp program. We believe that educational transformation requires not only sophisticated technology but also the mental readiness and adaptability of the younger generation. Therefore, Telkom is committed to continuously strengthening collaboration with schools, teachers, and various stakeholders to build a future educational ecosystem that is inclusive, healthy, and positively impacts the nation's progress," Hery remarked.
This initiative is part of TelkomGroup’s Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) implementation, particularly in supporting equal access to improved educational quality in Indonesia. The BISA PandAI program is also aligned with TelkomGroup's contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4: Quality Education.
By integrating AI proficiency and wellbeing reinforcement, TelkomGroup continues to build a younger generation capable of using technology responsibly while staying ready to adapt to change. The spirit of "Bersama Jadi Bisa" (Together We Can) serves as TelkomGroup's foundation for delivering educational initiatives that are relevant to future needs and have a positive impact on society.
