JAKARTA, August 21, 2026 – Commemorating the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, TelkomGroup once again reaffirms its commitment to contributing to preserving the environment through real action. The spirit of independence is manifested not only through celebrations, but also through a collective movement to build more environmentally responsible habits, especially in reducing single-use plastics and promoting sustainable environmental management.

This commitment is realized through the BISA Green Action Fest 2026, themed “Tanah, Air, Kita” (Land, Water, Us), held from August 18–21, 2026, at the Vertical Garden Telkom Hub, Jakarta. Carrying the spirit of Bersama Jadi Bisa (Together We Can), this event provides a space for TelkomGroup to introduce various environmental actions and initiatives while inviting employees, communities, MSMEs, and the public to help maintain the sustainability of land and water as vital parts of life.

BISA Green Action Fest is part of the implementation of the Bisa Lestari environmental pillar, which includes various TelkomGroup initiatives to preserve ecosystems and encourage more eco-friendly behaviors. Through this event, TelkomGroup not only showcases ongoing environmental programs but also invites the entire TelkomGroup ecosystem to take a role in creating more sustainable changes.

One of the main components of the BISA Green Action Fest is the “Tanah, Air, Kita” Exhibition, which showcases TelkomGroup's commitments and real actions to protect the environment. The Tanah (Land) area represents Green Carbon and Waste Management initiatives to preserve and restore terrestrial ecosystems. The Air (Water) area represents Blue Carbon and Clean Water Facility initiatives as efforts to protect aquatic ecosystems while improving public access to clean water. Meanwhile, the Kita (Us) area represents TelkomGroup's commitment to empowering communities by strengthening and developing MSMEs.

Furthermore, the exhibition also presents various environmental initiatives and collaborations carried out by TelkomGroup and entities within its ecosystem. These include Innovillage Green Innovation, featuring environmental-based innovations from young talents; Telkom Employee Social Activity (TESA), showing employee involvement in social and environmental actions; and community collaboration through Bumi Berseru Fest. The exhibition series also showcases sustainability initiatives from Go Zero, Mitratel, Telkomsel Jaga Bumi, and Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia, illustrating TelkomGroup's collective contribution to protecting the earth.

The spirit of collective action is also manifested through the Kick Off Zero Plastic Movement, marked by the provision of water refill stations. Within TelkomGroup's internal environment, employees contribute by activating digital programs that encourage simple actions, such as bringing their own food and drink containers to reduce single-use plastic consumption and participating in a usable goods donation movement.

Employee involvement is crucial to this movement because protecting the environment requires changes that start with daily habits. Through this participation, TelkomGroup encourages a commitment to sustainability that doesn't stop at specific programs or activities but grows into a culture and lifestyle practiced together in the workplace and everyday life.

Besides the exhibition and internal movements, BISA Green Action Fest also provides an educational space for the public. A total of 146 participants, including students, environmental communities, and local residents, took part in various educational and interactive activities. Participants could join a workshop on processing plastic packaging into fashion products with Bank Sampah Sawo Kencana, ecoprinting and natural-based creations with Godhog Asri, and paper recycling with Kawan Upcycle. The series of activities was also complemented by talk sessions discussing sustainability, the decluttering lifestyle, and gardening practices in limited spaces.

Telkom Indonesia's Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility, Hery Susanto, said the independence commemoration is a moment for TelkomGroup to strengthen its commitment and invite more parties to take a role in protecting the environment.

“As a digital company, TelkomGroup is committed to continuously making positive contributions to the environment and society. This activity is not just part of the 81st Independence Day celebration of the Republic of Indonesia, but a momentum to invite all of us to translate the spirit of independence into real action for the environment. The various initiatives displayed at this event show that protecting the earth is a shared responsibility—whether for companies, employees, communities, or the public. We believe that when these actions are carried out collectively and consistently, the impact will be much greater for the preservation of land, water, and the lives of future generations,” said Hery.

Through BISA Green Action Fest, TelkomGroup hopes the Bersama Jadi Bisa spirit will continue to grow into a collective movement in creating a more sustainable environment. This initiative is part of the implementation of TelkomGroup's Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) as well as the company's contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 13: Climate Action.
