Bandung, May 20, 2026 - The increasingly rapid development of digital and emerging technologies drives the need for young talents who are not only adaptive to change but also capable of creating innovations that deliver a real impact on society. In this context, cross-sector collaboration is crucial to building an innovation ecosystem that generates sustainable solutions while strengthening the younger generation's readiness to face Indonesia's digital future.

For TelkomGroup, the implementation of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL/CSR) is not merely a form of corporate social concern, but has become a core part of the company's values and a vital foundation in maintaining sustainable business continuity. Amid the rapid transformation of the digital industry, TelkomGroup views CSR as part of a long-term business strategy that creates shared value for both the company and society.

Through this approach, CSR is present not only to deliver social impact but also as a strategic solution in answering various future risks, ranging from the digital talent gap and public readiness for technological transformation to social and economic sustainability challenges in the digital era. On the other hand, strengthening the social ecosystem and technology-based innovation is also an important step in unlocking and amplifying future opportunities by fostering the emergence of excellent talent, digital innovation, and cross-sector collaborations aligned with the needs of industry and society.

As part of this commitment, TelkomGroup continues to encourage the younger generation to create social innovations by leveraging emerging technologies that deliver real impact while building a sustainable digital future. This effort is carried out to prepare the younger generation, so they are not only able to adapt to technological developments but also become creators of solutions and innovations that provide added value to society and support the acceleration of Indonesia's digital transformation.

One of these commitments is realized through Innovillage, a youth social innovation ecosystem now in its 6th year of implementation. Collaborating with Telkom University, the leading digital and technology-based higher education institution in Indonesia, Innovillage is present not only as an innovation competition program but also as a space for collaboration and capacity building for the younger generation to create technology-based social solutions that are relevant, impactful, and sustainable.

Through an innovation ecosystem approach, Innovillage encourages students and young digital talent to turn ideas into real actions that provide added value to society. This program also serves as a platform for the younger generation to develop an innovative mindset, improve digital competencies, and strengthen their ability to use emerging technology to address future social challenges.

This year, Innovillage successfully engaged 10,664 young digital talents across various stages, from idea development and field implementation to the validation of technology-based social solutions. In addition, this program recorded strategic achievements, including 1,281 student competency development certifications, 878 innovations implemented in the community, and 39,084 beneficiaries across 22 provinces in Indonesia.

Various innovations born through Innovillage also address a range of priority issues, from inclusive education, food security, health, the environment, MSME and women's empowerment, to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies to create broader social impacts. Through the consistent development of this ecosystem, TelkomGroup aims to ensure that digital transformation not only drives technological advancement but also creates a more inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable future for the Indonesian people.

Carrying the spirit of Bersama Jadi Bisa (Together We Can) as an activation of the BISA PandAI CSR program pillar, this year, Innovillage presented the Industrial & Social Innovation Ecosystem Forum 2026 as a cross-sector collaboration space bringing together academics, industry, government, communities, and young digital talents in building a future of technology-based innovation that impacts society.

Not only serving as an appreciation event for students' innovative works, but this forum was also designed as an orchestration platform for the TelkomGroup ecosystem in encouraging the development of national digital innovation. Various TelkomGroup entities were involved in strengthening the collaborative ecosystem, ranging from PT Telkom Indonesia, Telkomsel, and Telkom University to other strategic partners, through discussion sessions, innovation showcases, and collaboration on technology-based solution development.

This forum presented strategic discussions on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital talent development, and the role of technology in addressing various social challenges and fostering sustainability in the future. The presence of various stakeholders reflects that strengthening innovation and digital talent requires cross-sector synergy to produce a broader, adaptive, and sustainable impact.

Several innovative works that received appreciation at this year's event included SAVIA (Smart Aqua Village for Integrated Access) by IPB University students, which provided a technology-based clean water access solution in Sukaharja Village, and i-Chat 2.0, which utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support inclusive education for teachers and students with disabilities. Furthermore, various other innovations also addressed issues of food security, health, MSMEs, women's empowerment, and environmental sustainability.

On this occasion, the IT Digital Director of PT Telkom Indonesia, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, was represented by Riza A.N. Rukmana, Vice President of Digital Business Strategy and Governance at Telkom Indonesia, who stated that digital talent development is a strategic step in preparing the younger generation to meet the accelerating pace of global technological transformation. According to him, collaboration through ecosystems like Innovillage is crucial to ensure that technology can be utilized inclusively and provide a real impact on society.

"Through Innovillage, TelkomGroup wants to continue opening up collaboration spaces for the younger generation to create technology-based social innovations capable of providing added value to society while supporting the development of a more sustainable digital future for Indonesia. In line with Telkom's transformation into a digital telco company, various student innovation works through Innovillage also have the opportunity to be further developed into digital solutions and services relevant to the future needs of society," he said.

Through the consistent development of the digital innovation ecosystem and cross-sector collaboration, TelkomGroup continues to reinforce its commitment to cultivating excellent digital talent who can drive the nation's transformation. With a spirit of innovation and sustainability, TelkomGroup is optimistic that Indonesia's younger generation is capable of presenting technological solutions that are not only relevant to industry needs but also deliver real social impact for the future of Indonesian society.
